In our office we already normally (and have always) implemented sanitation, cleaning and sterilization precautions that protect us from the risk of cross-infections.

During periods of maximum pandemic alert, we have further increased the level of safety, both for operators and for our patients: management of the agenda in a staggered and spaced way, telephone / SMS triage before the appointment, and at the entrance to study, temperature measurement with thermoscanner, washing and / or sanitizing of hands, sanitizing path for shoe soles, protective barriers, collection box for bags and clothing for patients, sanitizing the operating room after each intervention, wrapping surfaces with film. Our personal protections are increased to FFP2 level with protective visor or even P3 full face respirators, gowns or water repellent coveralls.

Currently in the phase of stabilization or exit from the pandemic, despite the relative simplification of procedures, we continue to maintain all the most important and effective protocols, having now become indispensable standards.

​

We take particular care of the air exchange: we always open windows, and in addition our air conditioning system is already set up for the exchange of air in absolute safety, without recirculation and filtering problems, because it takes in incoming external air and throws it back into the suction.
